Vikram Khanna stood at the head of the conference table, flipping through a file. Aarvi, Sameer, Saanvi, and the rest of the team sat around, waiting for the agenda.

“So now there is time to cover the main story, we have a few assignments lined up,” Vikram started. “The mayor’s office is holding a press conference regarding the upcoming infrastructure projects. Saanvi, I want you on that.”

Saanvi nodded, making quick notes.

“Aarvi, there’s an upcoming environmental summit next week. Start gathering background information so we can prepare the right questions.”

Aarvi gave a quick thumbs-up. “Got it, boss.”

Vikram turned to Sameer. “And you, make sure we have enough local coverage for the weekend editions. We need more human-interest stories.”

Sameer grinned. “You mean, less politics, more people?”

“Exactly.” Vikram smirked. “We need to remind the audience we care about real stories.”

The discussion moved on to other minor assignments, giving the room a lighter feel. Aarvi leaned toward Saanvi and whispered, “Finally, a normal workday.”

Saanvi chuckled. “Don’t jinx it.”

Meanwhile, at K Designs, Kritika was having a busy morning. Customers browsed through racks of designer pieces while her assistants managed the orders.

“Ma’am, a client wants a custom lehenga for her wedding. She’s asking if we can finish it in two weeks,” an assistant informed her.

Kritika sighed, checking the schedule. “It’ll be tight, but we’ll make it work. Just make sure we get the fabric on priority.”

As she finalized designs, her phone buzzed. Aarvi’s name flashed on the screen.

“Hey, busy bee!” Kritika greeted.

“Madam journalist, kahaan gayab ho?” Kritika teased as she answered.

Aarvi chuckled. “Bas kaam mein busy. Tum sunao?”

“Yahi, orders sambhal rahi hoon. Waise tumhari awaaz se lag raha hai kuch interesting hone waala hai,” Kritika remarked.

Aarvi smirked. “Ho sakta hai. Bas ek important assignment hai.”

Kritika hummed. “Tu hamesha aise hi kisi na kisi mystery mein fasi rehti hai.”

Aarvi laughed. “Aadat se majboor.”

“You have no idea,” Aarvi replied. “Office is hectic, as usual.”

“And you love it,” Kritika teased.

Aarvi laughed. “I do. But I also need a break. Coffee later?”

“Done. My treat.”

𝐑𝐕 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬

At RV Industries, Reyansh and Vidyut were immersed in a different kind of chaos. They sat in their office, reviewing reports while discussing market trends.

“Investment portfolios are stable, but I don’t like the fluctuations in our foreign assets,” Vidyut muttered, tapping his pen against the table.

Reyansh nodded, scrolling through numbers. “Let’s arrange a meeting with the finance team. I want a full breakdown.”

A pause.

Vidyut glanced at him. “By the way, I overheard Dad talking about some past business deals again.”

Reyansh didn’t react immediately but set his phone down. “What did he say?”

“Something about how they should have been more careful in the past. It sounded serious.”

Reyansh finally put down the file and leaned back in his chair. “Something isn’t right about Aaksh Singhania.”

Vidyut crossed his arms. “You’re still on that?”

“Dad and Uncle were talking about him. And they seemed... uneasy,” Reyansh said, tapping his fingers on the desk.

Vidyut sighed. “Yeah, I heard them too. But they won’t tell us anything.”

Reyansh leaned back, exhaling slowly. “They’re hiding something. And I want to know what.”

Vidyut smirked. “Then let’s find out.”

Back at Insight 24/7, Sameer was typing away on his laptop when Saanvi nudged his shoulder.

“Kya kar raha hai?” she asked, peeking at his screen.

Sameer leaned back dramatically. “Serious research.”

Saanvi narrowed her eyes at his screen. “YouTube pe ‘Top 10 Ways to Dodge Awkward Interviews’ dekhna research nahi hota, Sameer.”

The newsroom erupted in laughter.

Aarvi shook her head, grinning. “Bas yahi reh gaya hai dekhne ko?”

Sameer smirked. “Jo press conference mein hoga, uske liye mental preparation zaroori hai.”

Vikram passed by, overhearing the conversation. “Mental preparation ya excuses?”

Sameer sighed. “Boss bhi mere against hai.”

The team shared a laugh, momentarily easing the tension of the upcoming interview.

This is how the day will end. aarvi went to her home and due to her hectic schedule, she fell asleep.
